HERO AND DETAIL SHOTS
RENDER SHOTS FROM LUMION
HERO SHOT
The hero shot encompasses the upper ground gallery of
Bernabeifreeman inspired by ‘align’ as well as the partly underground workshop
of Off-White designed around ‘identity.’ This image reflects different
levels within the building and the relationship between one another.
This hero shot explores the building and its relationship
with the surrounding terrain. The shot shows the ground level entrance
walkway being supported by the uneven landscape. The lower structure is depicted as
fitting in harmoniously with the uneven terrain, evident through the triangular shapes being partly underground.
The render shows the spectacular connection between the
detailed materiality and the landscape, as the materials fit into the natural/earthy colour scheme. The angle of the sun beautifully reflects the rich colours of the
materials used for the upper building, defining the designs unique and seamless shape.
DETAIL SHOT
This detail shot demonstrates the buildings unique shape and
arrangement, originally inspired by the word ‘align.’ The shot captures
the continuous flow between design elements, portraying their seamless relationship. The shot reflects how even
the simple elevator feature fits in harmoniously with the rest of the structure.
The detail shot highlights that it is not only the exterior elements
which flow smoothly, but also the many openings and spaces which
are sheltered. These open spaces have minimal walls which allow the flow of natural light and air, giving users the ability to feel connected to the environment in which they are in.
The wood and timber panels, tiles and stone all work well together and fit into the natural/earthy colouring scheme. The custom
texture ‘arrangement’ is captured in this image and imitates stacked timber panelling.
This detail shot represents simplistic yet distinctive
design features while portraying a sense of perfection and beauty through the structures clean geometry.
