Panels can rotate individually or as one, to protect and cover the gallery walkway. In peaceful weather conditions, natural sunlight can stream in through the glass. However in harsh weather conditions, the panels act as a roof and protect individuals walking below.
Large glass windows allows natural light into the gallery. Gallery work can be stuck to glass panels inside.
The colouring of the panels works with the theme of the pillars and moving sun blinds. When the roof isn't in use, the panels remain up (which don't impact the vision and view from other buildings).
